On November 30, 2023, the ‘LSA’ law office recorded another success. According to the second part of Article 104 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, our client H.S., who has been accused of a particularly serious crime and has been in detention for a long time, was granted a combination of preventive measures by the court’s decision, including house arrest, bail, and a guarantor.

On 30/11/2023, «LSA» Law Firm achieved another success. 2003 г. In accordance with Article 104, Part 2 of the RA Criminal Code, our client H.S., accused of a particularly grave crime, who had been in custody for a long time, was subjected to a combination of preventive measures: house arrest, bail, surety, and was released from the injunction. We thank Judge Manvel Shahverdyan for rendering an objective and fair judicial act.

As a result of the effective defense, by the lawyers of the law firm “LSA” Arsen Sardaryan and Edgar Ayvazyan, our client M.Sh., accused of a crime of medium gravity on two episodes, court applied a preventive measure of house arrest for a month. We express our gratitude to Judge Arman Hovhannisyan for the implementation of independent, competent and professional justice. And also special thanks to the court staff for their friendly and attentive work.

In relation to our client V.A. accused of committing a grave and especially grave crime, bail was applied as a preventive measure, and the latter was released from custody. We thank Judge Vahe Misakian for passing an objective and fair judicial act.

On June 10 2021 upon the decision of the General jurisdiction court of the city of Yerevan, the petition of the first deputy chief of the Police of the Republic of Armenia was considered to issue permission to undertake operational investigative measures – surveillance of telephone conversations, which was granted by the court.

Our defendant Y.B. was arrested in Armenia based on an international arrest warrant issued by the Russian Federation. She was accused of committing five counts of large-scale fraud in Russia and was requested to be extradited under the 1993 Minsk Convention on Legal Assistance and Legal Relations in Civil, Family, and Criminal Matters. In this case, our team of lawyers managed to achieve a victory, thanks to which Y.B. was not extradited to Russia. Initially, the court rejected the motion for detention submitted by the Ministry of Justice of Armenia, and Y.B. was immediately released from the courtroom. This victory paved the way for the next success when the Ministry of Justice granted our motion and rejected the request to extradite Y.B. to Russia.
