In the criminal case concerning the fire at the military barracks in Azat village and the death of servicemen, the preventive measure of detention imposed against Gor Aghekyan, the deputy commander for rear services of the military unit, was modified by the court, and the accused was released from the courtroom.

Gurgen Nersisyan defends Gor Aghekyan, accused in the 2023 military barracks fire case. On 23.08.2024, the court changed Aghekyan's detention to alternative measures.
