The Anti-Corruption Court of the Republic of Armenia rejected the motion for arrest filed by our client

The Anti-Corruption Court of Armenia rejected the motion presented by the investigator to apply detention as a preventive measure against our client H.G., who is accused of a grave crime (particularly large-scale fraud) in the case of alleged abuse at the Arabkir Municipality.

In July 2024, the defendant A.H. approached us to take over the protection of his interests within the framework of the criminal case being investigated against him.

In the criminal case initiated by the Anti-Corruption Committee of the Republic of Armenia, Andranik Mnatsakanyan, a lawyer from our firm, represented the client B.B., who on October 11, 2024, was charged with three counts of serious crimes under point 3 of part 2 of Article 435 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, as well as medium-gravity crimes under part 1 of Article 447 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, namely: receiving a bribe by an official for patronage and failure to take measures to halt the unauthorized construction of a building or structure.

On October 7, 2024, the General Jurisdiction Criminal Court of Yerevan rejected the investigator’s motion to extend the detention period of our client, Sh.K., who is accused of illegally crossing the border of the Republic of Armenia with forged documents.
